Job Opportunity: Radiation Therapist (Oncology)

Location: Maumee, Ohio
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Deliver quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments.
• Perform treatment simulations and fabricate necessary shielding blocks.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
• Prepare equipment for patient treatments and perform quality control and assurance tests.
• Ensure proper infection control techniques and adhere to radiation safety and protection practices.
• Maintain professional working relationships with medical staff.
• Follow nationally accepted standards of practice and provisions of quality patient care and environmental safety.

Requirements

• Specialty: Radiation Therapist
• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience required.
• Certification: ARRT (T) certification required.
• Equipment Experience:

  • Linear Accelerator (LINAC)
  • TrueBeam system by VARIAN
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required.

Work Schedule

• Dayshift

Additional Information

• Initial nonbillable hours: 12 hours
• Adherence to infection control and radiation safety standards is critical.

This position is suitable for Radiation Therapists with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT (T) certification, looking for a temporary assignment in oncology radiation therapy.
