Job Opportunity: PT Inpatient Rehab

Location: Quitman, Mississippi
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

• Physical Therapist position at a small 20-bed critical access hospital
• Beds are dual certified as acute care and swing bed
• Primarily outpatient role with some inpatient responsibilities (assist with evaluations and 6th visits for PTA)
• Average visits per day: 8
• No weekends or on-call required

Requirements

• Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation (Physical Therapy)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Physical Therapy
• Must have BLS certification
• Must hold a Mississippi State License in Physical Therapy
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• Open to first-time travel therapists (prior travel experience NOT required)

Additional Information

• Upon starting, may be assigned to an "Emergency Team" with expectations to stay at the facility during emergency events or be part of relief teams
• Must be comfortable with emergency event assignments as directed by unit management

This role is suitable for PTs seeking a travel contract in a critical access hospital setting with a mix of outpatient and inpatient duties.
