Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Outpatient Chemo Infusion
Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Job Details
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Setting: Outpatient Chemo Infusion
- Schedule: No weekends, no call
- Floating: Within facility/scope of practice; rarely to PWIC if needed
- Minimum Experience Required: 1 year (accepts first-time travelers)
- Prior Travel Experience: Not required
Certifications & Licenses Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS): AHA or ARC accepted
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS): Required for this specialty
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS): Required if working with pediatric patients in PACU/Pre-op/Endo/CSU or ER
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP): May be required depending on specialty area
- State RN License: Must be valid for Georgia
- Education Verification: Related degree verification required; can be pending at start with proof it is in process
- National Certification: If applicable, must be verified within 30 days prior to start
- Other Certifications: Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) course required within a few months of hire if applicable
Compliance & Screening
- Clinical Screening: Candidate will be reviewed for clinical fit before final approval
- Background Check: Required within 30 days of start; must be complete prior to start
- Drug Testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start; cannot start with results pending
- Physical Exam: Required within 12 months of start
- TB Testing: Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months; TB questionnaire required annually
- Immunizations:
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR): 2 vaccines or positive titer required
- Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer required
- Hepatitis B: Series, surface antibody titer, or signed declination required
- Flu Vaccine: Required or declination during flu season (Nov 1 - Mar 31)
Competency Exams
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exam required for RNs
- Color Blind Testing required for all candidates
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required for certain specialties (e.g., Tele, ICU, ER)
Additional Requirements
- Must comply fully with orientation and onboarding timelines (max 7 days to respond to offer)
- Expected to work major holidays if they fall during assignment period (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day)
- Review and sign facility-specific Code of Conduct and Dress/Professional Appearance policies prior to start
- Skills checklist and work history verification required (can be pending at start with proof in process)
- Two clinical references required
Notes
- Locals are accepted at the same rate
- Number of non-billable orientation hours depends on contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8-week assignment)
- No weekend or call shifts for this position
