Job Opportunity: RN Surgery Circulator (Travel)

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Job Summary

  • Provide direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition appropriately.
  • Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.
  • Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
  • Follow standard precautions and use personal protective equipment as required.

  • 12 panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
  • Education verification within 90 days of start.
  • Confirmation of assignment documentation.
  • Employment verification for past seven years.
  • Badge photo (white or blue background, no alterations).

Immunizations & Health Requirements

  • MMR: Proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted).
  • Fit test for respiratory protection (updated annually).
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination.
  • Influenza vaccine (seasonal; exemptions accepted with mask requirement).
  • TB screening: Positive IGRA or PPD results, chest X-ray within one year, and annual TB questionnaire.
  • 2-step PPD or IGRA within 90 days of start.
  • Varicella: Proof of immunity or two doses of vaccine (no declinations accepted).
  • Tdap vaccine valid within 10 years.
  • Statement of good health or physical exam prior to assignment.

  • Must complete various Ascension-specific exams and checklists prior to start.
