Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (Pediatrics) - Travel/Contract

Location: Chicago, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Night shift (18:30 - 07:00), rotated weekends

• Negative TB test or chest X-ray as per facility guidelines
• Required immunizations or titers: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B (including surface antigen and antibody titers for renal dialysis assignments)
• Negative 9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year of start
• Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required for flu season (Dec 1 - Apr 30)

Competencies and Training

• Unit-specific competency exams (including Medication Test/Pharmacology, Dysrhythmia/EKG)
• Annual Core training parts I, II, III
• OSHA mandatory annual training
• Color Blind Testing (14 plate Ishihara)
• Facility-specific online training modules prior to orientation

• Professional references: Minimum 1 management-level reference and 1 employment verification covering 1 year of experience within past 2 years
• Employment application and unit-specific skills checklist required
