Job Opportunity: RN Day Surgery (Pre/Post)

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in Day Surgery focusing on Preoperative and Phase II recovery (not PACU)
Plan and coordinate quality nursing care following ANA Standards of Nursing Practice
Provide leadership and collaborate with clinical personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards
Support the philosophy, goals, and shared governance vision of the clinical area

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years nursing (RN) experience, including PACU or CCU experience
Graduate of an accredited or state board-approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
Current Colorado RN license in good standing
Experience with Epic EMR preferred (facility transitioning from Meditech to Epic during assignment)
Must be available for evening and weekend call rotations
Certifications required before start date:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
Prior travel experience: Required (travel radius rule applies; traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility)
