Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry

Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Work schedule typically 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours.

Required Qualifications

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Prior Travel Experience: At least 1 completed travel contract required.
• Licenses & Certifications:

  • Iowa RN License (Compact license allowed)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• Additional Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
  • Work history/resume
  • License verification
  • Copy of required certifications
  • One supervisory reference at time of submission
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility (exceptions apply for Madison with a rate reduction).

Orientation

• Orientation sessions are scheduled regularly (dates available upon request).

Additional Information

• Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred.
• OT/Holiday and call-back pay multipliers apply.
• On-call pay available.
• Charge/Precept pay available.

This position is ideal for experienced Med Surg/Telemetry RNs with prior travel contract experience seeking a temporary assignment in Iowa.
