Work Experience
Description
OT Home Health - Travel/Contract Position
Location: Rolla, Missouri
Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation (Occupational Therapy)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- No weekends or on-call duties
- Patient load: 4-5 patients per day (varies by territory/drive time)
- Minimum 1 year of Home Health experience required
- Experience with Epic and OASIS documentation systems preferred
Required Experience
- Specialty: Occupational Therapy with at least 1 year of Home Health experience
- Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required
Certifications & Licenses
- State License verification required prior to start and upon expiration
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - Must be AHA certified
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - Required based on unit/specialty
- Other certifications may be required depending on specialty/unit (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC)
Compliance & Background Checks
- Background check covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in the past 7 years, updated annually
- HHS/OIG clearance required
- Education verification (diploma or transcript) required
- Drug testing: 9-panel urine drug screen within 3 months of start (marijuana not required)
Health & Immunization Requirements
- N95 Fit Test (using 1870+ mask) within 1 year of start
- TB testing: Negative TB test (PPD, QGold, or T-Spot) within 4 months of start; if positive, chest x-ray within 5 years and annual TB questionnaire
- Immunizations or positive titers required for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or signed declination)
- Seasonal flu vaccine or signed declination required during flu season (October - April)
- Seasonal COVID vaccine or declination required
Additional Requirements
- Driver’s license/state ID required
- Annual competency exam required
- Candidate must complete facility-specific orientation and review policies (e.g., parking, COVID-19 vaccination declaration)
