Location: Odessa, Texas

Job Description
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) in an Urgent Care setting
- Required Specialty Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Required Certifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA Instructor, Provider, or RQI accepted
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA Instructor, Provider, or RQI accepted
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – AHA Instructor, Provider, or RQI accepted
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) – Required as applicable
- CHEMO (Chemotherapy) – Required as applicable
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – Required as applicable
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) – Required as applicable
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) – Required as applicable
- NIH Stroke Certification – Required as applicable
- State Nursing License Verification (RN)
- NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
- Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) – Required for RNs, includes pharmacology exam with 3 attempts allowed
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam – Must meet or exceed passing score
- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement – Required, updated annually
Background Checks & Compliance
- 7 Year Background Check within 30 days of start, updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM Check within 30 days of start
- HHS/OIG Check within 30 days of start
- Annual TB Questionnaire required
- Drug Testing: Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days of start; plan for completion within 72 hours of contract signing
- References: 2 references required within 3 years of start
- Employment Application/Resume required
- Skills Checklist – Required, updated annually
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical Exam within 1 year of start, must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing
- Fit Mask Test within 1 year, updated annually (N-95 or equivalent required)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap Vaccine within 10 years
- Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray (PPD, QGold, or TSpot) within 1 year; Chest X-Ray within 2 years if positive responders
- Rubeola (Measles) – Positive titer or 2 vaccines required; booster if low/equivocal titer
- Mumps – Positive titer or 2 vaccines required; booster if low/equivocal titer
- Rubella – Positive titer or 2 vaccines required; booster if low/equivocal titer
- Hepatitis B – Positive titer, full series, or declination required
- Varicella – Positive titer or 2 vaccines required; booster if low/equivocal titer
- Flu Seasonal Vaccination or Declination during flu season (Oct-April); mask required if declined

- Dress Code Policy Acknowledgement
- Agency Checklist
- Standards of Behavior
- COVID Declination (if applicable)
- HIPAA and Fair Warning Quiz Modules (must be completed within 72 hours of signing)
