Job Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Telemetry

Location: Biddeford, Maine

Position Details

• Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry
• Shift: Nights
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: 36 hours (unless otherwise noted)
• Call Requirements: No call
• Contract Length: 8 weeks

Experience Requirements

• Years of Experience: 2 years in specialty (Med Surg / Telemetry)
• Preferred Experience: Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience preferred
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required

Job Responsibilities

• Must be willing to float to the ED to care for medical/surgical holds
• Must be able to read telemetry strips and enter data into the EMR system

Certifications & Education

• Current RN License
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Unit Information

• Patient ratios and number of beds vary based on unit
• EMR system used: EPIC

Work Environment & Culture

• Personality fit: Teamwork and reliability emphasized
• Dress code: Scrubs of any color allowed (no offensive language)
• Unacceptable attire: Flip flops, shorts, t-shirts

Additional Notes

• Float requirements: Required as needed to ED or other units within the float pool
