Required Certifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Schedule & Work Environment

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
• Block scheduling accommodations available
• Locals accepted with no radius restrictions
• Charting system: Cerner
• Scrub color: Grey
• Parking permit required (no cost)

Required Qualifications & Compliance

• Valid Illinois state license as an RRT (primary source verification required)
• Background checks covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
• Drug screening (9-panel) within 30 days of start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, confirming ability to perform job functions
• Fit mask test required (specific mask types accepted)
• Immunizations and health documentation required, including:

  • TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or immunity proof
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity proof
  • Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
  • Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (annual)
• Competency exam required prior to start
• References: 2 professional references required

Additional Notes

• Time off requests must be discussed with the manager
• Candidate must complete badge photo and code of conduct acknowledgment prior to start
• Fingerprints must be completed in Illinois 3 business days prior to start if candidate does not hold an Illinois state license
