Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)
Location: Coos Bay, Oregon
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide patient care within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
- Apply the nursing process to patient care.
- Teach patients and their significant others.
- Document patient care in the medical record.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall patient care.
Requirements
- Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years (required).
- Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience (required).
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS (must have or be willing to obtain).
- Oregon RN license (must have or be willing to obtain).
- Skills checklist completed within the past year.
Additional Information
- 16 hours unbillable.
- Overtime multiplier: 1.25.
- Ability to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week contract.
- Comprehensive medical services offered at the facility, including pediatrics, obstetrics, oncology, diabetes, geriatric medicine, emergency medicine, and specialty services.
- Employee health services include an in-house Nurse Practitioner for employees and dependents.
