Job Opportunity: Travel Dialysis RN

Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Job Description

  • Provide dialysis treatments including bedside and peritoneal dialysis.
  • Work locations include two campuses with varying schedules:
    • Regional campus: Monday-Saturday 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with on-call Sunday and after hours.
    • Northport campus: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays with on-call Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, and after hours.
  • Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals.
  • Work schedule includes every other weekend and holidays as required.
  • Typical hours: 36 or 48 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Associate degree in nursing.
  • License: Registered Nurse license in the State of Alabama or compact license (No temporary licenses accepted).
  • Certifications: AHA BLS or Red Cross certification.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
    • At least 1 recent year of dialysis experience required.
  • Language: Must be able to read, write legibly, speak, and comprehend English.

Additional Information

  • This is a patient-facing clinical position.
  • EMR system used: Meditech.
  • Dress code: Solid navy scrubs.
  • Parking is available.
  • Must be willing to float to other units/hospitals.

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks (approximately 3 months).
