Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology (Travel/Contract)
Location: Manchester, New Hampshire

Job Details
- Shift: 4x10 (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM), Monday through Thursday
- Call Requirement: 1 weekend per month, plus 4-5 weekdays total (rotating)
- Float Requirement: None
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty (Interventional Radiology)
- Prior Travel Experience: Prior travel experience required; unit does not accept first-time travelers
- Certifications:
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- License: Must hold a valid license appropriate for Interventional Radiology in New Hampshire
Skills & Procedures
- Interventional Radiology and Special Procedures including but not limited to:
- Angioplasty, Stent Placement, Embolization, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy
- Chest Tube Placement, Gastrostomy Tube Placement, Nephrostomy
- Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter placement, Mesenteric Angiogram
- Central Venous Access/Port Placement, Dialysis Graft Creation/Revision
- Endovascular Interventions, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography
- Fluoroscopy operation (Siemens equipment)
- Scrub and circulate procedures maintaining sterile field
- Use of Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose)
- Isolation Precautions and Rapid Response team participation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Epic electronic health records system
- Experience in Teaching Hospitals, Community Hospitals, LTAC, Trauma Level I & II
- ARRT VI certification
- PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) experience
- C-ARM and Hybrid OR experience
- Familiarity with Siemens Icono Biplane and Siemens Pheno equipment
Patient Population
- Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatrics
Required Background and Compliance
- Comprehensive background check including Social Security verification, criminal history, and other state/federal checks (specific NH requirements apply)
- Drug screening (10-panel) within 14 days prior to start
- Physical exam within 1 year prior to start
- Immunizations and titers required:
- Tdap (within last 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray (True 2-Step PPD, Qgold, or Tspot within 1 year)
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or vaccination
- Hepatitis B immunity or waiver
- Varicella immunity or vaccination
- Seasonal Flu vaccination (required during flu season with exemptions allowed)
- Fit mask test annually (N95 or equivalent)
- Respiratory safety clearance questionnaire required
- Pass/fail testing for EKG/Dysrhythmia may be required depending on unit assignment
Documentation & Other Requirements
- Two current professional references within last 3 years (one must be a supervisor)
- Employment application and skills checklist required
- Annual internal evaluation for travelers with Aya or agency over 1 year
- Facility-specific immunization exemption forms for medical or religious reasons available
- Passport-style photo for badge
- Proof of auto insurance if applicable (for home health/hospice roles)
Additional Notes
- Scrubs provided (blue)
- Travelers who have previously worked for the associated health system are not eligible regardless of separation time
- Must complete required authorizations and releases (SSA, NH Statewide, etc.) prior to start
This position is ideal for experienced Interventional Radiology professionals with prior travel contract experience seeking a 13-week assignment in a dynamic hospital setting with advanced imaging and interventional equipment.
