• Accepts 36 - 48 hour contracts
• Every other weekend required

Required Qualifications

License & Certifications

• Current RN license in Florida (Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start)
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification required
• Must complete license/certificate verification within 30 days prior to assignment
• Driver’s License/State ID (must be valid and match address requirements)

Experience

Mandatory Health & Safety Requirements

• 2 Step PPD or IGRA within 90 days prior to start
• Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen: Completed within 30 days prior to start and updated annually

Onboarding & Competency Requirements

• Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA, etc.) completed within 1 year, updated every 3 years
• Ascension EKG Exam with passing score (80% minimum, 2 attempts allowed)
• Ascension Skills Checklist completed within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Ascension Cerner Test-Out
• Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding (onsite)
• Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation
• Ascension Color Vision test completed prior to start and updated every 3 years
• Ascension Nova StatStrip training
• Ascension Unit Specific Checklist (optional for onboarding)

Professional Documentation

• Resume/Profile submission required
• At least two professional references prior to first assignment
• Criminal Background Check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry (within 30 days prior to first assignment, updated annually)
• Employment Verification for past 7 years (updated annually)
• Education Verification within 90 days prior to start
• Confirmation of Assignment documentation required upon initial assignment and updates for extensions
• Badge Photo (white or blue background, no alterations)
