Job Details

• Shift: Evening (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On Call: None
• Float Requirements: Float within skillset at Vineland ICU/SD and to Elmer ICU
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of ICU/CCU/SICU/MICU experience
• Prior travel experience: Not specified / not required

Certifications & Licensure

• Current licensure with New Jersey State Board of Nursing
• American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support)
• American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Orientation & Onboarding

• Completion of full orientation is mandatory; failure to complete results in immediate termination
• Orientation includes:

  • Virtual Welcome meeting and online HealthStream modules (must be completed by Monday start)
  • In-person classes (typically Tuesday through Thursday, locations vary)
  • Unit-based orientation scheduled by manager
  • Badge ID appointment required during orientation (photo submissions not accepted)

Contract Length

• 12 weeks

• Competency Exams including Dysrhythmia Basic A

• Multiple sanction and exclusion screenings (FACIS 3M, NJ Debarment, National Sex Offender, OFAC, OIG, SAM)
• Skills Check List and Stroke Education
