Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Job Description
- 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
- Must have Mother/Baby experience
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA provider, instructor, or RQI acceptable
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - Required for Labor & Delivery RNs
- Background checks including criminal background, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG required
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- 12 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days prior to start
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as required by specialty
- 2 professional references required
Additional Information
- Copy of valid photo ID required
- Annual respirator fit testing may be required
- Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination exemptions considered for medical or religious reasons with proper documentation
- Completion of facility-specific orientation and competency requirements (e.g., Healthstream courses) expected
