Position Details

Required Qualifications

• License: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for Illinois.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty or comparable/higher acuity area.
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA provider or AHA RQI only.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - Required for specific RN/unit positions (verify if applicable).
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - Required for specific RN/unit positions (verify if applicable).
• Background Checks:

  • 7-year background check including SS trace, sex offender, national and federal criminal checks, FACIS III.
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start.
  • Education verification (ADN or BSN required).
• Health Requirements:

  • Physical exam within 1 year, updated annually.
  • Fit mask test within 1 year (specific mask types required).
  • Immunizations and titers: Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap, Negative TB or Chest X-Ray, Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella.
  • Drug testing: Negative 9-panel within 30 days of start.
  • Flu seasonal vaccination/documentation or approved exemption.
• Other Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License or State ID.
  • 2 professional references.
  • Employment application including last 7 years of employment with explanations for gaps over 30 days.
  • Skills checklist updated annually for assigned and float units.
  • Work history verification covering 7 years.
  • Completion of facility orientation modules prior to start.
  • Photo for badge (passport style, plain background, no headgear).
