Job Opportunity: RN - Telemetry (Travel)

Job Description

• Work primarily on a Multi-specialty Unit (MSU) focused on Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (MS/TELE).
• Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed.
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, every other weekend, holidays as required.
• Patient population includes medical patients (dialysis, telemetry monitoring, acute medical needs) and surgical patients (orthopedic procedures and general surgery).
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6, supported by a Team Leader.
• Focus on pain management, mobility, prevention of complications, and patient-centered care in a safe environment.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing
• Licenses: Registered Nurse license in the State of Alabama or Compact license (No temporary licenses accepted)
• Certifications:

  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • OR Red Cross certification
• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred; will consider 18 months if under highest professional license.
  • Must have at least 1 year of recent experience in telemetry specialty.
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required.
