Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Telephone Triage Call Center
Location: Olympia, Washington

- Floating: May be required to float within scope as needed
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - Must be AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation certified
- Other certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) may be required based on clinical track but not mandatory for this role
License Requirements
- Must have a valid Washington RN license in hand prior to start
- Pending licenses are not accepted

- Outpatient facility setting
- Charting system: EPIC
- On-site position

Required Qualifications & Compliance
- Responsive to scheduling and interview requests (Teams interview required, respond within 24 hours)
- Background check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
- Drug screen (10 panel) within 90 days of start, no instant tests accepted
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Immunizations and health documents required:
- TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
- TDAP vaccine within 10 years or declination
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
- COVID vaccine or declination
- Respirator fit testing required annually for travel candidates
- References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within last 3 years
Training & Competency Requirements
- Completion of required WorkRamp modules (regulatory, specialty, and facility-specific) prior to start and annually thereafter
- Epic training modules required and must be completed after Providence access is granted
- Medication competency exams as applicable
- Skills checklist updated annually as applicable
Additional Notes
- Must complete Providence float policy acknowledgment (may be required to float to other Providence facilities within reasonable distance)
- Must comply with state-specific background and registry checks for Washington
- Passport-style badge photo required for badge issuance
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years required with explanations for any gaps or overlaps
This position offers a structured outpatient RN role with a focus on telephone triage in a reputable healthcare system in Washington state. It is suitable for nurses with at least 1 year of experience, including first-time travelers, who hold a current Washington RN license and are comfortable working onsite with EPIC charting.
