Travel/Contract Dietitian Job - Salina, Kansas

Job Details

Required Qualifications

• License: Kansas Licensed Dietitian State License
  (Pending license accepted if application is confirmed before or upon accepting offer)
• Certification: CDR - Registered Dietitian (RD)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty
• EMR Experience: Meditech experience preferred

Required Documentation and Compliance

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• Background Check: 7-year criminal check within a year of start, updated annually, including all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals
• Education Verification or Transcript/Diploma showing highest degree earned
• Physical Exam: Physician statement within 60 days of start confirming ability to perform essential job functions
• N95 Fit Test within 12 months of start (onsite fit testing available if needed)
• Immunizations and Titers:

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer within 10 years or completed 2-dose vaccine series (boosters required if non-immune)
  • Hepatitis B: Positive titer, completed vaccine series, or declination form
  • Varicella: Positive titer or completed 2-dose vaccine series
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap: Current within 10 years (required for Birth Center/NICU staff; recommended for others)
  • Flu Vaccine or Declination required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
  • COVID-19 Vaccine or Declination accepted
• Drug Testing: 9 or 10 panel drug screen within 60 days to 1 year of start (facility requires 10 panel including marijuana, SAMHSA certified, reviewed by MRO)
• References: 2 professional references within 2 years required for travel positions
• Skills Checklist: Required and must be updated annually
• Completion of facility-specific Healthstream modules prior to start (approx. 8 hours)

• First-time travelers are accepted
• Facility does not require prior travel experience
• Facility-specific orientation and safety acknowledgements required
• Professional evaluations may be required if previously worked with the system

This position is ideal for a licensed Dietitian with at least 1 year of experience, comfortable working in a travel contract role, and able to meet comprehensive compliance and immunization requirements.
