Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Case Manager) - Travel/Contract
Location: Everett, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: 5x8 hour day shifts
- Weekends: Required every other weekend
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2-week period
- Floating: Yes, will float between units including multiple campuses within close proximity
- Locals Accepted: No
- Pending License Accepted: Yes
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty (Registered Nurse)
- Must have Acute Care Experience
- Experience in Discharge Planning/Care Coordination required
- Strong preference for candidates with diverse Case Management experience in Med Surg, Long Length of Stay (LLOS), and Emergency Department (ED)
Required Licenses and Certifications
- RN Licensure (Washington State or Compact License accepted)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Other certifications may be required based on unit assignment and clinical track (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC for ER, Chemotherapy certification for Oncology) — verify with clinical track requirements
Prior Travel Experience
- Not explicitly required; first-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications and Compliance
- Must provide all required background checks and verifications including:
- Background check within 45 days of start
- Education verification (nursing degree)
- State-specific searches (Washington State Patrol, OBRA Registry for CNAs if applicable)
- Drug screening (10 panel within 90 days)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Immunizations and health documents including:
- TDAP (within 10 years or declination)
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray (annual updates required)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
- COVID vaccine or declination
- Respirator fit testing (annual, travel only)
- Must complete required WorkRamp modules annually, including:
- System-level regulatory modules
- Specialty-specific modules (e.g., Case Management, ER, L&D if applicable)
- Regional and facility-specific training modules
- Must complete Epic training modules as required by facility and role
- Must complete float policy acknowledgement
Additional Notes
- References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years required
- Skills checklists and competency exams as applicable to specialty and unit
- Physical exam must indicate ability to work with or without accommodation
- Background checks and verifications must be current and compliant with facility and state requirements
