Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Cath Lab

Location: Hagerstown, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work with Adult & Geriatric patients
• Experience required in:

  • EPIC system
  • Procedural Sedation
  • Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required
• Flu vaccine is mandatory (no exemptions)
• Call required on nights and weekends (approximately 9–13 days of call in a six-week period)
• Self-scheduling for call shifts
• Scrubs provided

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license (Maryland license or compact state license with proof of residency)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Prior travel experience required (No first-time travelers accepted)
• Call availability as specified

Additional Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start (annual updates required)
• Tdap vaccine within 10 years of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Proof of immunity or vaccination for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, vaccination, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
• Flu vaccine for 2025-26 season (no declinations or exemptions accepted)
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history and various federal/state screenings
• Proof of 2 clinical references
• Competency exams as applicable, including Moderate Sedation and Interventional Radiology specialty testing

Call Details

• Call hours: 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM weekdays, 5:30 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday on weekends
• Rotation schedule with approximately 9–13 call days per six-week period

This position is ideal for experienced Cath Lab RNs with interventional radiology skills who have prior travel contract experience and meet all licensure and certification requirements.
