Job Description
- Modality: Radiation Therapist
- Operating Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Shift Details:
- Standard shifts are 8.5 hours with a 30-minute lunch break
- 10-hour shifts during holiday weeks to ensure 40 guaranteed hours
- No weekends or on-call required
- First week onboarding hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Dress Code: Scrubs (black pants, any top)
Required Qualifications
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Ohio State License for Radiation Therapist
- ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy Technology
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Experience:
- Must be fully competent with Varian TruBeam linacs, Halcyon, and Aria version 15
- Preferred knowledge of Vision RT or OSMS (not required)
- Skills:
- TrueBeam, Halcyon, Aria experience required
- VisionRT experience is a plus but not mandatory
Experience Requirements
- Specialty: Radiation Therapy / Radiology / Cardiology

Background and Compliance Requirements
- 7-year criminal background check including FBI and BCI fingerprinting (must be completed prior to start)

- Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 3 months of start (no pending tests allowed)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start confirming good health and free of contagious disease
- Immunizations and health documents required:
- Tdap vaccine (adult dose)
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year
- TB questionnaire
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B titer or vaccine series (declination acceptable)
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer (medical exemptions reviewed)
- Seasonal flu vaccine or declination (mask required if declined during flu season)
- Drug testing and immunization requirements apply unless fully remote
Additional Requirements
- 2 professional references required (at least one from a manager or formal leadership)
- Employment application and skills checklist required
- Orientation and competency exams as applicable
- Facility-specific policies including dress code, hand hygiene, ethics, and compliance must be reviewed and signed
