Description

Job Opportunity: Emergency Department Assistant Manager / RN

Location: Corvallis, Oregon
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

  • Provide and assure quality care for patients of all ages, from neonatal through geriatrics.
  • Manage and support Emergency Department staff under the direction of the Nurse Manager.
  • Work in a fast-paced Emergency Department handling a wide variety of patient needs, from non-critical to emergent medical conditions, including urgent mental health care.
  • Care for critical cardiac and trauma patients, including children.

Required Qualifications

  • Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license.
  • Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications required.
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or ATCN (Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses) certification required.
  • Verification of high school diploma or equivalent (due to CAP requirements).
  • BSN preferred.
  • Successful completion of management courses or education program preferred.
