Job Description

Physical Therapists plan and execute rehabilitation programs to help patients return to a higher level of physical function. Responsibilities include:

• Therapeutic exercise
• Neuromuscular re-education
• Physical modalities
• Gait training
• Manual techniques
• Performing patient evaluations and treatments per physician prescriptions
• Assisting in clinic management of personnel and students

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of Physical Therapist experience (highest required)
• Outpatient orthopedics experience required
• Active Illinois Physical Therapist License
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Work history and skills checklist current to within 1 year, pertinent to Physical Therapy
• Two supervisory reference forms with dates of employment

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible)
• Dress code: Business casual (Khakis and a polo)
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required

Summary

This is a temporary outpatient Physical Therapist position requiring at least 1 year of PT experience with outpatient orthopedics. The role involves direct patient care and some clinic management duties. Candidates must hold an active Illinois PT license and BLS certification. Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible.
