Job Description

• Experienced circulator nurse, especially in Orthopedics, ENT, Endoscopy, General Surgery, and OBGYN
• Shift: 4 days per week, 9-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
• Call rotation required
• Start Date: ASAP

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license for Nebraska
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• Experience: At least 1 year of specialty experience as a circulator in the OR (implied by job description and specialty)
• Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Emergency Contact Form prior to start
• Background Check within 1 year (includes SS Trace, County searches, Nationwide, Sex Offender)
• Annual EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (required for all RNs)
• Competency Exam as applicable (must meet passing score)
• Physical Exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 1 year (with specific rules for past positives)
• Immunizations or proof of immunity for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (Titer, Declination, or Vaccine Series)
  • Varicella (Titer, Vaccines, or History of Chicken Pox)
• 9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year of start
• Seasonal Flu Vaccination or Declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
• 2 Professional References for travel, allied, or per diem acute care roles (within 3 years)
