Job Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) - Temp
Location: Richmond, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations. Perform portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography exams and transmit images to Radiologists for interpretation. Perform EKGs as needed and transmit to Cardiologists. Maintain equipment and communicate regularly with dispatch, management, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and process portable X-Ray exams using digital or computed radiography equipment.
- Obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-ray images.
- Perform EKGs when required and transmit results for interpretation.
- Unload and transport portable X-Ray equipment into facilities.
- Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol.
- Maintain vehicle and X-ray equipment in good working order.
- Communicate professionally with peers, supervisors, and clients.
Physical Demands
- Ability to push/pull equipment weighing 50-100 lbs multiple times daily.
- Use of vehicle ramps and pulleys may reduce physical strain.
- Physical activity includes moving equipment within facilities and homes.
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification (Radiologic Technologist).
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (based on typical industry standards; no conflicting data provided).
- Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required.
