Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Job Details

• Shift: 8 hours (08:30 AM - 5:00 PM)

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience
• Unit does not accept first-time travelers (prior travel experience required)

Required Certifications & Training

• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• 40 hours initial mammography training
• 8 hours digital mammography training
• 8 hours tomosynthesis training
• 15 mammography CEUs within the last 3 years
• Current mammography experience with at least 200 mammograms performed in the last 2 years
• Current CPR certification

Required Qualifications

• Valid state license for Mammography Tech (ARRT certification required)
• Prior travel experience required (no first-time travelers accepted)

Compliance & Background Requirements

• 7-year background check within 12 months of start
• E-Verify or attestation
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and every 30 days thereafter
• Education verification (highest level required)
• Drug screening within 1 year of start and updated annually
• Physical exam within 1 year of start attesting ability to meet physical demands
• Immunizations and health documents including:

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (if applicable)
  • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B documentation or declination
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption (not required for remote workers)

Orientation & Testing

• Completion of online modules within 72 hours of assignment
• Pass/Fail testing for medication and arrhythmia exams (if applicable)
• Badge photo required prior to start
• Fit mask testing completed onsite during orientation

Additional Notes

• Must carry a valid driver’s license for computer access setup and while on duty
• Must comply with facility-specific policies and training requirements
• Prisma Health facilities are latex-free environments

This position is ideal for Mammography Techs with solid mammography experience, EPIC system knowledge, and prior travel contract experience looking for a 13-week travel assignment in an outpatient setting.
