Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (ER) - Travel/Contract

Location: Camden, Arkansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: 3x12 hour shifts, Days (7 AM - 7 PM), Every Other Weekend (EOW), holidays as needed

Job Description

• Work in a General Emergency Department combining Adult and Pediatric experience.
• STEMI and Stroke facility experience required.
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred.
• Use of MedHost electronic health record system.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience (higher value confirmed).
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications preferred.
• No prior travel experience required; first-time travelers are welcome.

Additional Requirements

• Proof of government-issued photo ID.
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG.
• Highest level of educational diploma required.
• State-specific criminal search for Arkansas.
• Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands, updated annually.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually.
• Immunizations or titers required for: Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella.
• 9-panel drug screen within the last 12 months.
• Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (mask required if declined).
• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations.
• Completion of application/resume and skills checklist updated annually.
• Performance and internal evaluations if previously worked with the agency.

Summary

This is a travel Registered Nurse position in an Emergency Room setting requiring at least 2 years of RN experience with specific certifications and emergency care experience. The role offers 12-hour day shifts with every other weekend and holiday coverage. Prior travel experience is not required, making it suitable for first-time travel nurses.
