Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Nursing) - Contract

Location: Honakaa, Hawaii

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work at a Long Term Care Facility located on the hospital site.
• Responsibilities include:

  • Performing assessments and treatments
  • Medication administration
  • Notifying MD/NP of pertinent information
  • Admitting and discharging patients
  • Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
  • Gastrostomy tube care
  • Urinary catheter care
  • Nebulizer treatments
  • Wound vac care
  • CPAP care
  • Other assigned duties
• Shift schedule is varied with 8-hour shifts:

  • Days: 07:30 - 15:30
  • Evenings: 15:00 - 23:30
  • Nights: 23:00 - 07:30
• Includes weekends, holidays, and possible overtime rotation.
• No guarantee of hours or shift preference.
• Must arrive the Thursday before start date for employee health appointment on Friday.

Required Qualifications

• Active Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment.
• BLS/BCLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

• Timely arrival before start date is mandatory for onboarding procedures.
