Job Opportunity: MRI Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Job Details

• Shifts: 4-10 hour shifts from 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM
• Days Off: Either Mondays or Fridays off
• No weekends required
• No on-call duties; holidays only if needed to meet contracted hours
• Patient Age Group: Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
• Equipment: 3 Siemens MRI scanners (Skyra Fit, Prisma Fit, Sola)
• Common Procedures: MRI brain with perfusion, MRI brain with and without contrast, MRI abdomen with and without contrast, MRI brain without contrast, MRI knee without contrast
• Additional: Prefer but not required to perform X-Ray; expected to prep MRI patients

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of MRI Tech experience
• Certifications/Licenses:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • AART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• Documentation System Experience: EPIC
• Background Checks:

  • 7-year criminal background check including FBI and BCI fingerprinting (Ohio-specific requirements apply)
  • Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG monitoring
• Health Requirements:

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start, documenting good health and free of contagious disease
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year
  • Required immunizations/vaccinations: Tdap, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Varicella, Hepatitis B (or declination)
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 3 months of start
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
• References: Two professional references required; at least one from a manager or formal leadership
• Additional Compliance:

  • Education accreditation verification required
  • Fingerprinting per Ohio BCI/FBI standards with specific codes and timelines
  • Annual review and acknowledgment of dress code, hand hygiene, ethics, and compliance policies
  • Fraud, Waste, and Abuse training certificate required prior to start and updated annually
