Description

Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) (Days)

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours
Unit has 14 beds with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
Use of advanced robotics equipment including DaVinci Xi, Mako, and Rosa
EMR system: EPIC

Required Qualifications

Minimum 24 months (2 years) of current Operating Room experience
Proficient experience with DaVinci robotics
Proficient experience in Orthopedics including Total Joints, Spine, and general surgery
Experience with EPIC EMR system
Active Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license at time of submission
Current AHA or ARC ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
Current AHA or ARC BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications

Scrub experience (nice to have)
Professional references or performance evaluations within the last 24 months

Additional Information

Prior travel experience within the previous 24 months is required
Skills checklist specific to Operating Room Nurse discipline required
Clinical interview pre-screening will be conducted
