Travel/Contract Registered Nurse (PCU/ICU Float Pool)

Location: Voorhees, New Jersey
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Float within 5 hospitals within skillset (PCU and ICU units)
• Schedule primarily from PCU
• Block scheduling NOT allowed
• Return to Office (RTO) documentation required at time of submission; no late submissions accepted

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC only)
• Must pass Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing contract (2 attempts allowed; must be taken on PC, not iOS devices)
• EPIC experience preferred
• End of Week (EOW) / End of Hour (EOH) documentation required
• First-time travelers accepted but not preferred

Certifications & Compliance

• ACLS and BLS current and valid (cannot expire within 30 days of contract start)
• Dysrhythmia competency test required for PCU, ICU, ED, Cath Lab, PACU, and other specified units
• Background check: 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG checks required
• Physical exam within last 12 months
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
• Flu vaccination required (or approved exemption) for the season
• Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen without THC within 6 months of start
• Other health documents: Hepatitis B, Mumps, Rubella, Rubeola, Varicella titers or vaccination proof
• Fit mask test completed onsite during orientation
• Visual acuity exam (20/40 or better)
• Latex questionnaire required
• Professional references (2 within last 2 years)
• Employment application and skills checklist required
• Work history verification required for New Jersey candidates (minimum 1 year prior to start date verified)

Additional Information

• Local rate adjustment for candidates living within 50 miles (not included here)
• Must comply with all facility-specific document submissions and deadlines
• Prior travel experience is NOT required for this position

This position is ideal for experienced RNs comfortable with floating between PCU and ICU units in a multi-hospital system. Strong clinical skills, certifications, and compliance with testing and documentation requirements are essential.
