Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg (Nights)

Location: Casper, Wyoming
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with Med Surg experience for a temporary assignment in Casper, WY. The role involves working night shifts in a Med Surg department within a regional trauma and referral center serving multiple counties.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 24 months (2 years) of current Med Surg nursing experience
  • Active Wyoming RN license or Compact RN license
  • American Heart Association ACLS certification (current)
  • American Heart Association BLS certification (current)
  • Flu vaccination (declinations accepted with proper documentation)
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • License verification must show no disciplinary actions or hits at time of submission
  • Completion of required learning modules prior to assignment start
  • Skills checklist specific to Med Surg discipline
  • Resume must include all previous facilities, facility size, bed count, trauma level, and units worked

Additional Requirements & Notes

  • Return to Office (RTO) requests must be less than 7 days and cannot occur during the first week of assignment or on holidays
  • Background check and compliance requirements are strict and must be attested to
  • Travel experience is preferred but not required
  • Candidates must be ready to accept the assignment and provide accurate information on all locations, shifts, and departments they are willing to work in
  • Non-billable hours adjusted to 16 hours per assignment
  • Assignment may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty
