Job Opportunity: PACU Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Position: 2 PACU Registered Nurses needed
Shifts: Four 10-hour shifts per week, variable start times
Call Requirements:
- Primary call: Up to 4 call shifts per 13-week contract
- Primary call hours: 11 PM - 7 AM on weekdays, 7 PM - 7 AM on weekends
- Backup call: 1-2 backup call shifts per week (backup to in-house night shift RN)
- Call frequency is low
Prior travel experience required (no local candidates)

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
