Description

Radiation Oncology Contract Position

Location: Scottsbluff, Nebraska
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
Responsible for performing radiation oncology procedures as prescribed and directed by the radiation oncologist
Record delivery of patient treatments accurately and timely
Provide patient care demonstrating clinical skills
Utilize effective communication with patients, families, staff, and physicians
Perform ancillary duties including:
- Processing films and assisting with darkroom functions
- Answering and transferring telephone calls accurately
- Assisting with patient transportation to and from the department
- Restocking supplies and notifying appropriate personnel when supplies need ordering
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Required Qualifications

License: Must hold a valid license appropriate for Radiation Oncology practice (e.g., Radiation Therapist license)
Specialty: Radiation Oncology
