Job Opportunity: Neuro Endovascular Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: Florence, South Carolina
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Maintain a professional image and excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers.
  • Select and utilize appropriate technical factors for Neurointerventional procedures (NIR Bi-Plane), considering body habits, pathology, and body parts.
  • Process completed images ensuring interpretable quality.
  • Participate in continuing education and in-services to develop professionalism.
  • Comply with all system policies to deliver high-quality service.
  • Perform all procedural examinations during scheduled hours and be available for call (call every other week).
  • Work under the supervision of a surgeon to facilitate safe and effective invasive and non-invasive surgical procedures.
  • Assist with draping patients, establishing sterile fields, patient positioning, prepping, and lifting/turning patients using proper body mechanics.
  • Ensure availability and preparedness of procedure rooms.
  • Participate in surgical site and patient verification during time-out procedures.
  • Assist with room cleaning and turnover.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.
  • Full-time hours with emergency call coverage as scheduled.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in Neuro Endovascular or Neuro Interventional Radiology is mandatory.
  • Experience in vascular radiology scrubbing and imaging, with additional experience specifically in Neuro Endovascular or Neuro Interventional Radiology.
  • Certifications:
    • BLS (AHA)
    • ARRT
    • SCRQSA
