Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arkansas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience, with CVOR experience within the last year

Job Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements
Complete patient assessments and develop plans of care collaboratively with the surgical team
Assess and document patients’ physical, mental, and emotional needs
Recognize potential problems and communicate findings to appropriate surgical team members
Document nursing interventions, treatments, and patient responses accurately
Document perioperative data appropriately
Anticipate surgical team needs by assembling supplies according to surgeon preference cards
