Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) (Days)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) position in Phoenix, AZ. This role requires a highly skilled nurse with a minimum of 24 months of current PACU experience. The facility is a Level I Trauma Center and nationally recognized academic medical center providing advanced specialty care.

Required Qualifications

License: Active Arizona or Compact RN license
Experience: Minimum 24 months of current PACU experience
Certifications:
- American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support)
- American Heart Association PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Flu Vaccination: Required (declinations accepted with proper documentation)
Driver’s License: Required (Note: Candidates with an Arizona driver’s license will NOT be considered)
Background: Must meet specific background compliance requirements
Travel Experience: Prior travel experience is required

Additional Requirements & Notes

Learning modules must be completed prior to the start of the assignment
Resume must include all facilities, facility size, beds, trauma level, and units worked in
Skills checklist specific to PACU discipline must be provided
Return to Office (RTO) requests will not be approved within the first week or on holidays and cannot exceed 7 days
Start date should be on or very soon after the order start date
Candidates must be open to working in multiple departments and shifts as specified in submission
Non-billable hours adjusted to 16 hours per assignment
Assignment may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty
