Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT Pediatrics) - Travel/Contract

Location: Akron, Ohio
Contract Length: 12 weeks


Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with pediatric or adult experience to provide respiratory care. The role may require floating to other nearby facilities as needed.


Required Qualifications

  • Valid Pediatric Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio
  • Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
  • Respiratory Therapist experience with both pediatric and adult patients
  • Certifications:
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Level 3 and 4 NICU experience preferred
  • STABLE certification (can be completed onsite)
  • Experience in pediatric intensive care units (PICU), neonatal intensive care units (NICU), or similar settings

Additional Information

  • Must be willing to float to other facilities as needed
  • Required to complete facility-specific documents including HIPAA training, computer security agreement, and float policy acknowledgment
  • Annual updates required for certifications and competencies

  • No explicit prior travel experience required for this position
