Job Requirements

• Valid RN license in New Mexico
• Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience within the last year
• ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Required Qualifications & Compliance

• Background checks including 7-year history, education verification, fingerprinting (completed onsite during orientation), EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG checks
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start (annual renewal required)
• Immunizations and health documentation:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (positive titer or 2 vaccines)
  • Hepatitis B (positive titer, series, or declination)
  • Varicella (positive titer, 2 vaccines, or documented history)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (required during flu season)
  • COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (declinations not accepted)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
• Unit-specific skills checklist required annually
• Work history verification for the past 7 years
• Complete application/resume required

Additional Information

• Fingerprinting must be redone for every new contract
• Orientation and EPIC training can be attended pending fingerprint clearance, but no unit work until clearance is received
• Clear headshot photo required for badge
• Various competency exams and safety manual acknowledgments required as applicable

This position is suitable for ICU RNs with at least 1 year of experience who are open to night shifts, floating, and weekend work in a travel contract role. Prior travel experience is not required.
