Description

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kansas
Minimum 1 year of recent PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience
Experience in Surgical ICU Stepdown, Intermediate Care, or Stepdown units
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
NIHSS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Experience with telemetry monitoring on the unit
Experience with pre/post cardiac catheterization care
Wound care experience
Experience managing suicidal ideation (SI)
Experience with atrial fibrillation (AFIB)
Experience with gastrointestinal bleeding (GIB)
Experience caring for COVID patients
