Job Opportunity: Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, no weekends or holidays
Department hours: 5:30 AM to 9:00 PM
Unit: Pre/post care for Cath lab, EP lab, PV lab, and interventional radiology
Patient population: Includes patients from IR, EP, Cath, PV labs, and Same Day PCI patients
Telemetry experience required (some patients require telemetry monitoring)
Must understand care and monitoring of arterial and venous access patients (radial and ulnar access), including hemostasis management
Charge RN experience required

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, with at least 1 year within the last year
Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, and Interventional Radiology
ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in Charge nurse roles
Experience managing and monitoring hemostasis in arterial and venous access patients (radial and ulnar access)
