Description

Job Opportunity: Assistant Department Manager, Emergency Department (ED)

Location: Corvallis, Oregon
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

  • Provide and assure quality care for patients of all ages, from neonatal through geriatrics.
  • Manage and support Emergency Department staff under the direction of the Nurse Manager.
  • Work in a fast-paced Emergency Department that handles a wide range of patient needs, including emergent and urgent mental health care.
  • Care for critical cardiac and trauma patients, including children.

Required Qualifications

  • Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license.
  • Previous management experience required.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Certifications required:
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
    • TNCC/ATCN (Trauma Nursing Core Course / Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses)
    • Healthcare Provider Level BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Verification of high school diploma or equivalent (due to CAP requirements).
