Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (MS/Tele)

Location: Titusville, Florida
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)

Job Description

Must be comfortable with a 1:6 patient ratio.
Patients typically require Progressive Care Unit (PCU) level of care.
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.
Floating within scope of practice is required.
No block scheduling allowed.
Mandatory 5 shifts for clinical orientation week (36-40 hours).
Orthopedic and total joint replacement nursing care experience strongly preferred.
Local candidates not accepted (must live more than 30 miles from facility).

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida.
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
Experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing.
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
