Job Opportunity: MRI Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Roanoke, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Shift options:

  • 4x10-hour shifts (1 PM - 11 PM)
  • 4x9-hour shifts (2 PM - 11 PM)
• Days: Monday - Friday with a random weekday off
• No on-call or holiday shifts required
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Floating may be required to nearby locations within the system

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ARRT certification
• Experience working with Adult patients and Level 1 Trauma patients
• Experience in Acute Care and Outpatient settings
• Proficient in Diffusion (non-brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP), Multiplanar Reconstruction (MRP), Perfusion, and Spin Echo Images
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Additional Requirements

• Must provide valid Driver’s License/State ID within 48 hours of signing (address must meet radius criteria)
• Background checks including 7-year history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG required within 30 days of start
• Education verification and transcript/diploma required
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, free from communicable diseases
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
• Drug screening (10-panel) within 30 days of start
• Fit testing for masks within 1 year, updated annually (not required for students)
• Required immunizations or positive titers for: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• 2 clinical references required
• Completion of skills checklist annually
• Photo for badge required
