Job Opportunity: Temporary Respiratory Therapist

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary

Job Summary

• Provide professional and clinical respiratory care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the respiratory therapy discipline across local campuses.
• Local candidates (within 50 miles) are not eligible.
• Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) — must have at least 24 months of current Respiratory Therapist/RRT experience.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in Illinois (active at time of submission).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Skills checklist specific to Respiratory Therapist discipline required.
• Professional references or performance evaluations within the last 24 months preferred.

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted (prior travel experience is not required).
• Must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility location.
