Job Opportunity: Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Location: Greenwood, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer with a specialty in Radiology / Cardiology. First-time travelers are accepted.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in specialty (Radiology / Cardiology)

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
• CCI RCS (Cardiovascular Credentialing International Registered Cardiac Sonographer)
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) as required
• Other certifications may be required depending on specific clinical settings

• EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Cardiac Sonographer with a minimum of 5 years of experience, including experience within the last year
• Echo Technician experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) certification
• Valid license appropriate for Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer discipline
• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• Social Security Number or Card
• Background check: 7-year criminal history, including all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals
• Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands, updated annually
• Drug testing: 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (instant acceptable)
• Immunizations and health documents including:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years or approved declination)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • Flu vaccination or approved declination (seasonal requirements apply)
  • COVID vaccine, medical/religious exemption, or declination required
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella titers or vaccinations

Additional Requirements

• Proof of 2 clinical references (hospital evaluations accepted) within the past year
• Completion of employment application/resume
• Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency as applicable
• Facility-specific onboarding and compliance modules must be completed prior to orientation
• Photo for badge required

Prior Travel Experience

• Not explicitly required; first-time travelers accepted
