Job Opportunity: Technologist - X-Ray (Days)

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Position is for a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) specializing in Interventional Radiology within Medical Imaging.
  • Must be able to start on or very soon after the order start date.
  • No Return to Office (RTO) approval within the first week or holidays; RTO cannot exceed 7 days.
  • Candidates with an Arizona driver's license will not be considered.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Arizona.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year.
  • Experience as a Special Procedures Technologist.
  • Experience as a Radiology Technologist.
  • Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior travel experience is preferred but not required.

Additional Information

  • Candidates must provide a detailed resume including all facilities worked at, facility size, bed count, trauma level, and units.
  • Skills checklist specific to Radiology Tech / IR Tech discipline is required.
  • Must complete a detailed cover page listing all locations, shifts, and departments willing to work in.
  • Flu vaccination status must be included in submission notes.
  • The facility is a Level I Trauma Center providing advanced specialty services including heart, cancer care, neuroscience, and multi-organ transplant programs.

Notes

  • Assignment terms updated for starts on or after 4/23/2023.
  • Non-billable hours adjusted to 16 hours per assignment.
  • Assignments may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty.
